1. Making tank landing craft

The regular feature The other man's job looks at the work of women in a Scottish ship-yard building LSTs (Landing Ship Tank) of the type used in the invasion of Sicily. Working women are even entrusted with the launching of the craft.

2. Warrior of the week

A soldier back from Burma narrates one of his exciting experiences and promises to visit the factories to narrate many more.

3. Mubo wrested from Japanese

The importance of Allied air superiority in Pacific is illustrated by RAAF low-level attacks on coastal jungle areas in New Guinea. Sequences are shown featuring artillery attack on Japanese positions directed by a circling spotter plane, an Air Transport Command lifting of supplies to the front line and attacks by USAAF Liberators on Lae.

4. Arms pour into Sicily

Preparations are made in North Africa by British airborne troops before the invasion of Sicily. The importance of supplies, including American equipment, is stressed. Landing parties board vessels for a safe journey across the Sicilian Channel.
