The days of the classic format press book and the showmanship stunts which it promoted are now over. In our more sophisticated age, film companies issue press kits - usually a folder with a small selection of production stills, a glossy illustrated sheet with the credits, and photocopied pages with cast and crew biographies and background stories. Increasingly, visual publicity is produced and delivered electronically.
