Welcome back! Here's hoping you're not all snowed under - by work or weather! Speaking of which, the wonderful British Transport Film Snow from 1963 provides a very topical Show and Tell in which four teachers offer suggest uses in a variety of subjects.

There's an entertaining ensemble of snow-related Topical Budget films to peruse, such as Troops in the Snow (1915), Snow Bound Galicia (1916), and the beautiful Snow! (1931), any of which could provide a seasonal starting point to a lesson. The Cutting Room - our fantastic, addictive editing tool - also offers a new selection of weather-related treats.

Finally, this month we launch of an exciting partnership with Screen West Midlands - the Rushes project. Follow the link to The Cutting Room below to view unedited footage from a selection of SWM-funded films and have a go at re-cutting the original scenes. Happy editing!
