This month there's a new selection of short films of London in The Cutting Room - Screenonline's fantastic (and addictive) editing tool, which allows you to create your own short films using archive footage and your own video and audio. Why not encourage students to develop their creative skills by making their own mini masterpieces using footage of the UK's capital city?

In Show and Tell, a range of teachers consider the short animation No Arks (1969) - the work of political cartoonist Abu and narrated by Vanessa Redgrave.
