Charisma(originally transmitted on ITV, 27th December 1974

Miss Jones declines Rigsby's offer to take her out to the wrestling. Meanwhile Philip and Alan, desperate to bring girls back to their room, decide to offer Rigsby some romantic advice. Alan recommends the seductive charms of his Matt Monro record and gives him some pills to calm his nerves. Rigsby goes to Miss Jones, puts the record on, and after being over-familiar promptly collapses. The pills were for morning sickness.

Philip tells Rigsby that in his tribe they burn the wood of the love tree outside the woman's door, then gives him a piece of the wardrobe, claiming it is from the love tree.

Alan smuggles a girl, Maureen, into his room, although she insists on bringing her bike in. He makes her hide under the bed when Miss Jones rushes in to tell him she can smell burning. Rigsby follows, brandishing the burning wood, telling her she now finds him irresistible. She douses him and the wood with a water siphon. As Rigsby kicks at her bike, Maureen intervenes and storms out. Philip returns and asks Rigsby if he can bring his date inside - when Rigsby refuses he tells him the wood was from the wardrobe.
