Donohoe, Amanda (1962-)

Actor

Main image of Donohoe, Amanda (1962-)

Too sexually alluring to find enough demanding work in British films, Amanda Donohoe (born in London on 29 June 1962) has also worked extensively in the US cinema and TV, including an award-winning stint as lesbian Cara Jean Lamb in LA Law (1990-92). In British films, she was a sexy distraction from the absurdity of Castaway (d. Nicolas Roeg, 1986), a snake goddess in Ken Russell's The Lair of the White Worm (1988) and a lesbian seductress in his The Rainbow (1989).
