Synopsis

A gentleman with top hat and umbrella walks against a backdrop representing a rainy London circus or square with a column in the centre and adverts for Bovril and Vinolia soap prominent on a building. Three robbers enter and attack him. A policeman who runs to the rescue manages to draw his truncheon but is overpowered.
