H.M.S. 'Renown' draws into the quayside at Portsmouth and the Duke and Duchess of York are seen standing at the ship's side. They are joined by Lord Lascelles, the Duke of Kent and the Prince of Wales and the party disembark. Train steams alongside the ship. Royal party seen driving through London and into Buckingham Palace. Duke and Duchess appear on the Palace balcony with Princess Elizabeth and King George V and Queen Mary.
