"DUKE OF YORK AT DARLINGTON CENTENARY CELEBRATIONS". Duke and Duchess of York seated with spectators on a raised stand. "1825: THE FIRST TRAIN". The events re-enacted, with a man riding along the track on horseback, waving a flag, followed by the train filled with people in period costume. "HISTORY OF THE WHEEL IN TRANSPORT". A train passes by in which is represented, in models, the history of the development of the wheel. "1925 - WHAT NEXT?". A modern-day engine passes by.
