"Return of the Prince. His wonderful Embassy of Empire successfully concluded H.R.H. arrives home at Plymouth." Launch comes alongside cruiser (HMS Comus - name seen); long shot of same; closer view of Prince of Wales as he gets into launch (filmed from moving boat). "Plymouth. Thousands of people crowd the famous Hoe to cheer our prince"(flashtitle). View of crowds. HMS Renown coming into harbour passing pier. "The Landing". At quayside with dignitaries, Prince (in naval uniform) disembarks. Motorcade along crowd line quay. "The Capital of the West gave H.R.H. a mighty welcome". High angle shot of motorcade through crowd-lined and flag-decked streets. "The Prince arrived in London on Rose Day and Queen Alexandra's drive lent colour to the scenes." Two open landaus and a car travel though crowd - Queen Alexandra not discernible. "A FamilyReunion". Flag decked Paddington Station ; dignitaries await arrival - Long shot of greetings (no member of the Royal family is discernible). George V accompanied by Prince of Wales inspects guard of honour (as they turn Prince smiles and asks King something). Royal party, in open landaus, leave the station. George V and Prince in same carriage and are clearly seen. "Never has London so welcomed any prince". Huge waving crowds; huge crowds lining route of procession - carriage bearing King and Prince passes. "Marble Arch." High angle shot of procession turning into Marble Arch and travelling through to Hyde Park entrance. "Wonder of Hyde Park Corner". Procession passing through Hyde Park Corner arches. High angle shot coming along The Mall and into Buckingham Palace. "Home" Ground view of cheering crowds outside Palace.
