"The United States Army is recruited by voluntary enlistment, the actual strength in 1915 being 5,000 officers and 93 thousand men. An inspection of American Troops at a camp in the Southern States". Large number of American troops lining up on a parade ground. Column of black troops (in casual uniforms) walk one by one past an inspecting white officer.
