Synopsis

"WOUNDED SOLDIERS TRIM HATS. A special hat trimming competition for wounded soldiers. Some of the 'creations' being quite up to Parisian standard". British soldiers sitting on the ground trim hats. A woman hands out needle and thread. Only two of the soldiers seem obviously wounded having their hands bandaged. The men standing wearing their hats, one man has his arm in a sling. In the background can be seen a large group of people seated around the field.
