"STAFFORDSHIRE HOUSE ENTERTAINS WOUNDED SOLDIERS. A DONKEY RACE AND A LIGHT-THE-CIGARETTE RACE PROVIDE PLENTY OF AMUSEMENT FOR THE WOUNDED TOMMIES FROM THE HOSPITALS". Light-the-cigarette contest seen in progress, soldiers light the cigarette which their girl partners take and race back to the starting line. Women's flat race - the contestants race towards and past the camera running up to the line of soldiers assembled alongside the track.
