"THE LORD MAYOR IN KHAKI The Lord Mayor makes a stirring appeal at the Mansion House to the young men to save their country. Many recruits come forward to attest and the National Anthem is sung in conclusion". Sir Charles Wakefield, Lord Mayor of London, on the platform at the Mansion House with army officers. Addresses the crowd. A volunteer is helped up onto the platform and congratulated by the Lord Mayor and officers. Others follow suit. View of crowd. Union Jack and Commonwealth flags.
