"ASQUITH WEDDING. MISS VIOLET ASQUITH DAUGHTER OF THE PRIME MINISTER, MARRIED TO MR BONHAM CARTER AT ST MARGARET'S WESTMINSTER. THE MOUNTED POLICE HAVE DIFFICULTY IN KEEPING BACK THE HUGE CROWDS". Mounted police seen amongst the crowd, and two policemen on foot assisting them to control the crowd. Guests arriving in cars at the entrance to the church. The bride arrives with her father.
