Synopsis

Main title. " General Cousins decorating French heroes at the Invalides with the Medal Militaire. This is the French equivalent of our Victoria Cross". French soldiers on parade in courtyard of Les Invalides. In the centre three wounded men are seated in bath/wheel chairs. The middle soldier is presented with a medal by the General, the recipient is tapped on the shoulders with a sword and kissed. Three officers sorting out medals for presentation. The parade of soldiers march off; General Cousins watching the march past.
