"MEMORIAL SERVICE FOR NURSE CAVELL: THE LORD MAYOR AND SHERIFFS ATTEND IN STATE THE SERVICE AT ST PAUL'S HELD IN MEMORY OF NURSE CAVELL WHO WAS MURDERED BY THE HUNS." An alderman alights from his carriage at the steps of St Paul's and then another closed carriage pulls up at the steps and, preceded by the sword and mace bearers, an alderman in civic robes alights; the next shot shows part of the civic procession mounting the steps followed by attendants in long coats and top hats; the last shot is of two mounted policemen and a closed carriage also at the foot of the steps.
