"ON THE MARCH. Nothing is more inspiring than to see some of the 'Boys' marching through leafy Surrey lanes to the strains of martial music". Marching band followed by columns of soldiers. Two mounted officers lead long columns of soldiers along a lane; some soldiers carry rifles. Two more mounted officers bring up the rear.
