Synopsis

Main title. "The West Kent Fencibles' Fete at Perry Hill, includes a Red Cross bandaging competition and a 'go as you please' donkey race". Nurses in full, white aprons with a red cross on it, attend to soldiers. Some soldiers have their heads bandaged, other their arms. Spectators, in the background, watch. A tug of war competition. A race of military bandsmen. The musicians, in uniform, run to a finish line carrying their instruments, including a drum and assorted brass instruments. A donkey race. The winner of the race seated on his donkey.
