"WOMENS MARCH THROUGH LONDON : Suffragettes march from Bow to the Portman Rooms to hold a joint demonstration of the Suffragette societies". High angle shot of a marching band followed by demonstrators holding banners with texts such as: 'United Suffragists Votes for women'; 'Women must have man's pay for man's work'; 'British Socialist Party, North Camberwell Branch, workers of the world unite'. High angle shot of another marching band followed by protestors with banners such as: 'Follow to the Portman Room'; 'We demand votes for women to protect our homes and wages'. Most banners also state: 'East London federation of Suffragettes'.
