"The Royal Field Artillery practising the art of worrying the Huns". In a high walled yard with residential buildings in the background, a unit of five men practise gun drill with a field gun under the supervision of officers. The unit separates the gun from the gun carriage. The gun is set up for firing while the gun carriage is brought alongside. Firing positions are taken up. The unit then turns the gun around and begins to reattach the gun carriage to the field gun. In the background to the field gun display, a group of trainees in civilian outfits - each wearing different coloured shirts and trousers - are put through keep-fit exercises. At one point all are standing on one leg.
