Pimple's Uncle (1915)

Synopsis

Warning: screenonline full synopses contain 'spoilers' which give away key plot points. Don't read on if you don't want to know the ending!

Pimple learns that his uncle intends to leave his money to his most deserving nephew. Pimple's cousin James thinks of a way to make Pimple unpopular with his uncle by writing a bogus letter claiming the Uncle is mad and must not eat or drink certain things or be allowed near anything dangerous like cutlery. The household play along to humour the uncle, bursting into song, which they have been told will calm him. The Uncle is understandably confused and frustrated but the ruse rebounds on James and he is cut off without a penny.
