"OUR NAVAL LOSSES" HMS Monmouth sunk in the battle of Coronel 1st November, 1914. HMS Good Hope which caught fire and sank in the same battle; and HMS Hogue sunk by a German submarine in the North Sea on 22nd September, 1914.
