Synopsis

Grossmith and Payne apply make-up in dressing room. On stage they appear in top hat and tails, then in hunting gear with shotguns, in a sketch in which Grossmith downs a bird and shoots Payne in the backside. In another sketch, Grossmith pays court to a young woman, while Payne, the awkward partner, waits to one side. Eventually he joins in by recounting a tale which Grossmith finds hilarious but bores the young woman, who walks away
