In the post-war decade disarmament and peace treaties were the talk of the hour, and women were associating themselves all the more with pacifism. This news item shows the 'Peacemaker's Pilgrimage' organised by the Women's International League, meeting in Hyde Park to discuss 'Law not War'. Among the speakers is Margaret Bondfield MP, later to be the first woman Cabinet Minister.
