The Palace of Versailles, 28 June 1919. US President Woodrow Wilson and his French and British counterparts Georges Clemenceau and David Lloyd George arrive by motor car and enter the Palace, accompanied by French and British army officers, Ignacy Jan Paderewski (the former concert pianist turned Prime Minister of Poland) and all the dignitaries' wives.
