When Queen Mary alights from her car she is greeted by the officer in command (Mrs Charles Beatty) and with Princess Mary and her party she stands to watch the parade; the unit is then standing at the salute; finally the Royal party inspect thelong ranks of women and the long row of ambulances with their drivers.
