Title: "How 'Zev' Beat 'Papyrus' in the Mud. Thousands see the great £20,000 match at Belmont Park." Spectators stream through turnstiles; overhead shots of the throng by the track. Title: "They're off!"; a bugler sounds the start of the race. The horses set off; multiple shots of the race. Title: "'Zev' wins!", followed by second title, in different style (taken from original Kinogram newsreel?), announcing "Zev beats Papyrus." Shots of the finish, with the winner several lengths clear at the post. Jubilant spectators. Papyrus and his rider approach the camera. Title: "Though beaten, 'Our Steve' still smiles!"
