A car in drives up to a house and the parents descend, leaving their baby in the car with the dog, Rover. A man comes up and drives away with the baby, Rover pursuing on foot. When the kidnapper leaves the baby unattended in the car, Rover gets into the driving seat and drives the baby back the way they came. Parents and child are happily reunited, and Rover and the baby are seen sitting proudly in the motorcar.
