Scenes at the royal visit of Princess Louise (9th Duchess of Argyll) to Liverpool.

A kilted regimental bagpipe band performs on the pavement. On parade, they unfix bayonets, clutch their rifles between their legs and stand to attention. The band and regiment parade right to left. Princess Louise, the Lord Mayor and another man enter a carriage. They adjust blanket and flowers.
