Mitchell and Kenyon 96

A distinctive striped pavilion at Preston's ground at Deepdale. A policeman, and some officials, stand behind the fence and gate in front of the building. A glimpse to the left of crowds on tiered stands and a residential building immediately behind.

Preston walk out, the captain (?) holding the ball. The goalkeeper wears gloves and flat cap. The team wear all-black strip. Wolverhampton Wanderers follow, wearing white shirts and black shorts. The captain(?), wearing a flat cap, leads them out holding the ball. A dwarf is among the officials by the gate; he doffs his cap to camera. The teams play - both ends can be seen; one end shows the large partially-covered tiered seating; from the other end large chimneys are in the background.

Crowds in terraces at Deepdale. The boys cheer, wave caps to camera, and fool about. As the camera pans the crowd, the boys move to keep up with it. Crowds seen waving at the back of the ground. A policeman patrolling. Further shots of the boys cheering.
