The life cycle of a beehive, showing the queen bee and her attendants the development of the bee embryo, young bees leaving the cells, worker bees collecting pollen and nectar, preparing to swarm by building queen cells. The bees leave the nest and cluster on a bush from which they are collected by J.C. Bee-Mason and put into a purpose-built hive.
