Synopsis

Warning: screenonline full synopses contain 'spoilers' which give away key plot points. Don't read on if you don't want to know the ending!

Sailors stand to attention in the foreground as a ship departs. On the passing ship, a sailor runs along, while a line of sailors stands to attention on an upper deck. Two boys and a girl (all royal) are led along a carpet on a wooden platform by a sailor. They are followed by a man and three women, then a sailor bearing a rifle. A man in naval uniform greets George and Mary on a similar carpeted wooden platform. As the royal couple walk along other men in uniform appear. George stops and poses, possibly for unseen photographers near the camera, then continues. Throughout this section a train, marked "London Brighton and South Coast Railway" is visible.
