Synopsis

"The GREAT TREK Horse and Foot still pouring out of Ireland". Army horses are led by soldiers down gangplank. Troops in full kit (including rifles) march along quayside to camera; the ship is docked alongside. Back view of same as the men cross gangplank to ship. Soldiers cheering and waving their caps on the ship. "Men of the Irish Free State who are taking the place of British Troops". Three men (all in civilian clothes and two carrying rifles) leave a large doorway of a public building. The two men with rifles parade in front of the building and march off in opposite directions.
