Civil war scenes in Dublin. "How the Rebels were burned out of Sackville Street". Soldier by lorry shoots along street; broken glass of window around his feet. "The First Shell" Field gun fired watched by other soldiers. "First shell bursting". Explosion in building (very brief shot); shell of destroyed building with windows blown out and an armoured car and lorry in street beside the building. Car drives off as building begins to burn. View of the burning building from two different angles. "Rounded up". A large group of soldiers stop a civilian walking along a road. "The Red Cross". HAS/ELS of man and nurse (?) carrying white flag in street.
