Views of the streets of Norwich from the upper deck of a moving tram. The tram heads down a street with shops on the left and houses on the right, and with pedestrians who walk along the pavement. A single horse-drawn cart travels ahead of the tram. At the end of the road the tram reaches a more crowded area with shops on either side of the road.

A second high street is busier, with shops that line the high street and crowds filling the pavement. The tram passes a furniture shop and a parcel shop. Pedestrians walk in front of the tram.

Another street. The tram reaches a fork in the road and turns left in front of a theatre. As it turns into the next road another tram passes with passengers sitting at its open top. On another street the tram moves away from men who cross the tracks behind it.

On another street the tram passes by a fenced-in area with much activity within it. A stall on the street has attracted a small crowd. Another high street is less crowded, with the road almost empty and the pavement populated by only a few passing people.
