Worker and War-Front (1942-1946)

Ministry of Information-sponsored World War II workers' newsreels

Main image of Worker and War-Front (1942-1946)

Worker and War-Front was produced by Paul Rotha's company for the Ministry of Information. Like the parallel Warwork News, many of the items were linked to factory production to stress to the audience/workers the importance of their contribution to the war effort. Eighteen editions were released on a more or less quarterly basis between May 1942 and January 1946.
