A fat man is seated at a railway buffet, against a mountainous backdrop. A blackface waiter takes his order and serves him, then waits by the table. The customer knocks him over, but he springs back to a vertical position. His head returns to position after being knocked off. Finally the customer tramples on the waiter and beats him with his stick, but he springs back to life. A further struggle ensues.
