Show full synopsis

A suburban family hire a cab to go to the station. As soon as they have embarked, the cabbie transforms into the Devil and takes them on a hair-raising trip up mountains, through the air and under the sea. This film by W.R. Booth is made in the style of Georges Méliès' fantastical journeys such as Voyage a Travers l'Impossible (France, 1904) using optical tricks and a combination of painted backdrops and models with a live cast.
