Show full synopsis

Glasgow's Police (1934) was made with the encouragement of Captain Percy.J. Sillitoe of the Glasgow police force, as part of his policy to 'de-mystify' the police in the public's eye. Sillitoe is credited with introducing successful new methods of policing, notably the street corner police box, to counter the Glasgow gang culture and the subsequent violence on the streets.

The sound track for this film was recorded on gramophone records which have not survived. Entered in the 1934 Scottish Amateur Film Festival
