Parliament reassembles after the 1923 General Election.

On 6th December 1923 polling took place. Although Baldwin and the Conservatives were the largest party they were in a minority. Baldwin decided to continue in government until Opening of Parliament 15th January 1924. The King's Speech was defeated 21st January and Baldwin resigned 22nd. The three Party Problem refers to the issue of who would lead the Government; Conservatives, Liberals or the Labour Party.
