Women's football enjoyed considerable popularity during the 1920s, and featured in several Topical Budget stories. Many were shocked at the very idea, as the title of the newsreel indicates, but the title is in quotation marks, and Topical Budget seems rather more approving from the tone of this light-hearted item.
