Scenes at an American lion farm.

Show full synopsis

A trip to an unidentified American lion farm where, according to the title card, "ravening monsters become more gentle than some humans!" A group of lions are shown trotting into a large enclosure prior to being put through their paces by a trainer.

One of the lions lets the trainer ride him, another leaps over the table on which two women are having afternoon tea (a completely clean jump, with no spillages), while a third is shown happily consorting with a woman (though not quite as affectionately as the title 'Sweethearts' implies).

Finally, 'The Rising Generation' shows lion cubs frolicking, prior to one being fed milk from an oversized bottle, an image of such ineffable cuteness that it must have sent Topical's audiences purring up and down the country.
